Without Walls Day Habilitation

Coarc’s Without Walls Day Habilitation program is a community based program offering a wide variety of trips, activities, volunteer opportunities and skills to build independence.  Activities are based on what people participating in the program choose.  A calendar of events for each month is planned by participants with staff support.  Without walls provides people with the opportunity to develop social skills, communication skills and learn how to access and navigate the community safely.  Some examples of Without Walls activities include; visiting the YMCA, bowling, shopping, volunteering for Meals on Wheels, museum trips and hosting the Annual Fall Ball and Science Fairs. The Without Walls program day is approximately 4 ½ hours and runs Monday-Friday.  Transportation is provided.
